Case Details
This 68 year old woman was bothered by the way clothing and bathing suits were fitting her abdomen. During her comprehensive consultation, our board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Young found that a large diastasis recti or separation of her 6 pack muscles was a major contributor to the shape of her tummy. We performed an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck to remove loose skin and repair the muscle layer to give her the flattest tummy possible. She is ecstatic with her result and restored confidence in all manner of clothing.
