Meet Dr. Pooja Reddy

Headshot of Pooja Reddy, MD, FAAD

We are pleased to introduce dermatologist Dr. Pooja Reddy, a valued Dermatology Associates of Rochester team member. Originally hailing from East Texas, Dr. Reddy has recently established herself in Rochester, NY, alongside her husband.

Dr. Reddy’s academic journey includes graduating magna cum laude from Rice University, where she majored in sociology and minored in biochemistry. Her pursuit of medical education led her to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she not only achieved Junior Alpha Omega Alpha recognition— an honor bestowed upon the top seven students in her class—but also graduated with the highest honors.

She then embarked on an intern year in Denver, Colorado (a time that revealed her preference for indoor pursuits!) before undertaking her dermatology residency at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

In her professional practice, Dr. Reddy is dedicated to offering comprehensive care, excelling in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Beyond her medical endeavors, Dr. Reddy finds joy in the company of her family and friends. She indulges in true crime podcasts that pique her interest and immerses herself in a diverse range of literary genres during her leisure time.
