Position Title:
Medical Biller

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Utilize online payer portals to verify insurance eligibility, claims status, and appeals
  • Experience with denials and the persistence to carry through the entire appeal process including phone work with patient and payer
  • Explain patient accounts accurately and eloquently while remaining calm under pressure
  • Phone experience with the confidence to carry through a verbal rejection to reprocessing
  • Works with Management to establish and implement new processes for efficiency
  • Familiar with UHC, Cigna, Aetna, Excellus, MVP, Medicare and other private ins carriers
  • Very computer savvy and comfortable learning new programs
  • Daily charge entry, posting, and managing accounts receivable

Position Title:
Patient Relations Champion

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Schedule appointments and follow ups as needed
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our EMR in a comprehensible way
  • Verify insurance eligibility
  • Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level.

Position Title:
Cosmetic Patient Relations Champion

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver world class customer service and make clients feel they are the most important interaction of your day
  • Accept payments and apply them in the patient record
  • Schedule appointments and follow ups as needed, as well as notifying them if there are any changes in the schedule
  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate team members
  • Be knowledgeable and articulate in discussing all procedures and products offered
  • Present yourself well in person and on the phone
  • Be kind and sincere to best understand the patient’s needs
  • Maintaining accurate, updated patient information in the EMR system
  • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all clients and visitors

Position Title:
Medical Assistant / LPN

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect and accurately document information and assess patient in office
  • Monitor blood work and vital signs
  • Assist providers in procedures including but not limited to skin surgeries, injections and laser surgery.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
  • Sterilize and prepare medical tools, equipment and rooms
  • Set up room for procedures as instructed by the providers
  • Educate and update patients on procedures, medical treatments and medications
  • Conduct follow up calls for patients after appointments or if any questions arise
  • Ensure rooms are stocked daily
  • Participate in daily huddles with providers and support staff

Position Title:
Patient Care Consultant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct initial patient consultation, describing DAR’s treatments and services with an expert knowledge base
  • Work with patients to understand their goals and expectations before, during, and post treatments
  • Educate patients on proposed treatment plans, including payment options
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current DAR patients, ensuring a smooth hand-off between consult and treatment
  • Manage follow-up process by reaching out to potential patients who have expressed an interest in DAR to help educate them on the process, identify where they are in their decision-making process, and/or follow up on patients who may have delayed scheduling a treatment
  • Demonstrate ethical sales practices and adhere to all company protocols, policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with cosmetic/plastic surgery teams to ensure premier client experience
