Family nurse practitioner Caitlyn Koenig is an AANP board-certified provider at Dermatology Associates of Rochester, bringing a diverse clinical background in labor and delivery, medical-surgical nursing, solid-organ transplant care, and urgent care medicine. She earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing from Niagara University, then completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Rochester.
Following graduate school, Caitlyn completed a post-graduate fellowship in urgent care medicine, gaining advanced clinical training in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions, procedural skills, and evidence-based patient care. This varied clinical background gives her a strong foundation in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and compassionate care across a wide range of patient populations.
In dermatology, Caitlyn has a special interest in procedural dermatology, preventive skin care, and patient education. She’s passionate about helping patients understand their skin conditions and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health, and she values building meaningful relationships that keep patients heard, respected, and involved in their care.
When she is not in the office, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, exercising, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
