Is CoolSculpting painful?

During the procedure, you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, intense cold, or stinging at the treatment site. Following treatment, you may experience some temporary but common side effects like swelling, bruising, or tenderness. Many patients also experience some numbness in the treated area. This is normal and may last for a few weeks but dissipates over time.

Will the fat come back?

Good news! Since the treated fat cells are permanently removed during this process, the unwanted fat will not come back after your CoolSculpting treatment. However, it’s important to maintain consistent exercise and avoid weight gain to preserve your svelte physique.

How long does it take to see results?

In the weeks to months that follow treatment, your body naturally eliminates the dead fat cells. Results may begin to show in as little as a few weeks. However, most of our patients experience full results 3 to 4 months post-treatment.

Will I lose weight with CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is NOT a weight loss procedure. It is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment. As we mentioned earlier, it’s an ideal solution for men and women who are already relatively fit and close to their ideal weight range and who want to eliminate stubborn pockets of unwanted fat.

What should I do before and after CoolSculpting?

We encourage you to maintain your normal diet and exercise routine pre-and post-treatment. On the day of your treatment, you should have a small meal before visiting us, bring an extra pair of undergarments, and dress comfortably (we will provide a change of clothing to wear for treatment).

Following your treatment, you’ll be instructed to massage the treated area(s) for 2 weeks. In the weeks to months that follow treatment, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates the dead cells. We encourage you to schedule 2 and 4-month follow-ups so that together we can monitor and view the visual progression of your body contouring transformation.
